HALAL FOODS INTERNATIONAL (HFI) was registered in June 1995. The main business was then established in December 1996, mainly dealing in health food. The target markets for these products were identified as the Malay and Indian communities. The decision to identify and focus on this group was established with careful study of the Singapore market which does not have a strong company which caters specifically to this group of people.
After operating for seven months in direct sales and wholesale, HFI had established itself as a leader in providing quality health food supplies in the niche market. The company was able to accomplish this goal thru aggressive advertising and marketing quality products. A key aspect of our strategy has been to build brand recognition without compromising quality and doing direct sponsorship of various local events in an effort to bring us closer to the community.
HFI is a subsidiary of Yours Naturally Pte Ltd which acts as a consulting agent for HALAL FOODS INTERNATIONAL and Global Advertising Services. The management and staff of Yours Naturally Pte Ltd work daily with HFI on their advertising campaigns and naturally the company is accredited to Media Corp Radio, TV12 and Singapore Press holdings. One of the keys to our success has been the continuity of leadership in the business. The same management has been running the companies since establishment and they have a combined experience of thirty eight years in the field of marketing.
